How to operate the Wifi-device, is it simple?Click!
It works the same as connecting to any Wifi connection, quick and easy!
1) Press the power button to switch on, wait for 30 secs for internet signal to show
2) On your phone or gadget, go to Settings > WiFi, find a WiFi connection in the form of WiFi-Korea-xxx,
the password is on the rear of the Wifi-Korea device. In the Wifi device kit, a Wifi-Korea device user manual will be included, you can find instructions to operate our device and a guide to set up Wifi connection!

What kind of and how many electronic gadgets can be used with the Wifi device?Click!
Our Wifi-Korea device can connect up to 5 different gadgets at any point in time! You can share it with your family and friends while travelling in Korea,
as long as your gadget allows connection to Wifi, it is compatible!
In order to stay connected with the Wifi-device, what is the maximum distance possible?Click!
The connection range for our Wifi-Korea device is up to 10 metres! For example, if you are buying admission tickets at Lotte world, and the rest of the group went off to the restroom, everyone can still be connected to the Wifi-Korea device as long as it is within the 10 metre range.
Is the Wifi-device fully charged upon Pick up?Click!
As per WiFi-Korea's operational standards, in order to ensure the best quailty for our cutomers, all our devices are carefully inspected and fully charged before sending it out for Pick up. Once you pick up our device, you are all set and ready to explore Korea!
Is 700mb on the ESP device sufficient for travelling purposes?Click!
No worries, average data usage of travelers is about 125mb.
700mb is more than sufficient as long as video streaming and download is refrained! Also, please follow our instructions to turn off the auto updates on the mobile phones, which uses alot of data unknowingly. If phone settings are not changed accordingly, the daily limit of 700mb could be used up in minutes upon connection.
Andriod users Google Play Store > Settings > Auto-update apps > "Do not auto-update apps"
( *iPhone will prompt a message, photos will be deleted etc.. / This means that the photos in the Online iCloud drive will be deleted, however rest assure as the Photos will remain in your iPhone, once you are back in your country, you are free to connect to your home wifi and upload the photos back to your iCloud online drive again by turning on the "Photo Stream" & "Photo Sharing")
WiFi-Korea provides a mobile app for ESP so that you can track your data usage on real time basis. Please check our troubleshooting card for more instructions.
For a rough estimate, 100mb of data usage is equivalent to, Google page search x 350, Skype - 25mins, Whataspp/Line chat platforms - 20,000 messages
Our rental is based on rental days, hence as long as the device is in your possession on the calendar date, it is considered as 1 rental day.
As we allow full day rental, 00:00 hours onwards, up till 24:00 hours is considered as 1 rental day.
Pick up on January 1st, 9am & Return on January 5th, 9am - 5 Rental days
Pick up on January 2nd, 3am & Return on January 5th, 11pm - 4 Rental days
Pick up on January 1st, 11pm & Return on January 5th, 7am - 5 Rental days
Can I rent and make payment when I arrive at the Incheon airport counter?Click!
Unfortunately, it is not possible to make payment at our Incheon Airport Counter. Our counter at Incheon airport solely manages the logistical operations for Pick up & Return only.
Please kindly make reservation and payment online in advance, an email regarding Airport pick up instructions will be sent to you 2 days prior to your Pick up date.
May I pick up at the Insadong office without prior reservation online?Click!
Of course it is possible to pick up at our Insadong office anytime during office hours! No reservation online is required to pick up at our Insadong office. However, if you would like to make payment in credit card, it is advised to make reservation and payment online to secure the availability of your device before you visit our office.
I would like to make payment in Cash, Korean Won, how is that possible?Click!
Please kindly visit our Insadong office if you would like to make payment in Korean won. If you have a Korean Bank account, Bank Transfer in Korean won is also possible, please kindly contact us for more information.
For return at Incheon airport or Hotel accomodation, please note that the deposit of 100USD has to be made by Credit card.
For return at our Insadong office, the deposit of 100,000KRW or 100USD equivalent can be made in cash and in your choice of currency. When you return the device at our Insadong office, we will return you the deposit exactly as the currency and amount we have received
It is based on 3G network, covers Metropolitan cities in Korea such as Seoul, Busan, Incheon. Signal could become extremely weak in some buildings or shadow areas, please try placing the device a close to the window as possible for the best possible connection.
Please kindly note that there is no coverage at Nami Island, Jeju Island, Ski Resorts, Sokcho, Gyeongju.
Do you have a counter at Gimhae airport / Jeju airport?Click!
Unfortunately, we do not have a counter at Gimhae airport or Jeju airport.
We can send it to your accommodation in Busan, Jeju or anywhere in Korea! You are free to pick it up when you check-in to your Accommodation!
It is possible to send to any accommodation as long as there is a Front Desk, Security Office or someone to receive and keep the parcel on your behalf, as the device arrives at least 1 day prior to your Pick up date.
Is it possible to Pick up and Return at different locations?Click!
Of course it is possible to Pick up and Return at different locations!
You are free to Pick up at Incheon airport and Return at your Jeju accomodation, or Pick up at Busan accomodation and Return at your Seoul accomodation, any way you want it!

It is possible to change the Pick up and Return location, just drop us an email anytime!
Of course it is advisable to inform us your decision at your soonest, as it takes 2 business days for delivery to your Pick up location, however in urgent circumstances we will try to make arrangements to meet your request, please contact us immediately for assistance.

Where is the Incheon Airport counter, is it easy to locate?Click!
It is located in the Public area, 3rd Floor of Incheon Airport, Departure Hall.
The counter is located at Row A, please find the map on the "Locate us" tab. For Airport Pick up, an Airport Pick up email will be sent 2 days prior to your Pick up date, you will find information, instructions and the map for smooth pick up at Incheon airport. For Airport Return, an Airport Return card will be included in your Wifi-Korea Device kit, please kindly refer for instructions, information and the Airport counter map.
Where can I pick up the Wifi-device in the Hotel / Guesthouse?Click!
The Wifi-device will be ready for pick up at the Hotel / Guesthouse Front Desk on your Pick up date.
The Front Desk is unsure of the Return service, what should I do?Click!
In our Wifi-Korea Device Kit, a Hotel Return Card will be included, instructions and information for the Hotel is provided as well, please kindly pass it on to the Hotel Front Desk if they are unfamiliar with our Return service.
I am not sure if there is a Front Desk, how can I Pick up / Return the Wifi-device?Click!
Please check with your Host if there is a security office that is able to receive parcels on behalf of their tenants.
Otherwise please ask your Host to receive the parcel on your behalf, please kindly furnish us the Full address, Host's name and contact number upon reservation. The parcel usually arrives the day before your Pick up date.
Our Insadong office is located at Exit 6 of Anguk station.
Upon exit, please continue to walk straight for about 30m, you will find a Bakery on your left "Bread & co", we are on the 3rd Floor of the building. Please kindly refer to our Location tab for our address and map.

I do not have a Paypal account, is it possible to pay by Credit card / Debit card?Click!
Yes it is possible to pay by Credit card / Debit card.
A Paypal account is not required. Once you have completed the reservation form, please proceed to "Submit Reservation" at the bottom of the page, a Paypal link will prompt and there will be 2 options for you, "Pay by Paypal" and "Pay by Credit card". Please kindly chose "Pay by Credit card" if you would like to use your Credit card or Debit card without a Paypal account.
When will my Credit card be charged for the rental? Click!
For deposit made by Credit card, the deposit refund will be processed within 3 working days after your Return date. A notification email will be sent to you once the deposit refund is processed.
For deposit made in Cash, we will return you the deposit when you Return the Wifi-device at our Insadong office.
What happens if I have lost an item or returned wrongly?Click!
According to our T&C, any damaged, missing or wrongly returned items will be charged accordingly to your deposit. Please refer to our T&C for detailed costs.
All devices will be checked for excess data usage upon return. Our data control team will be in contact with you should there be any excess data usage, and overage charges apply at 2 cents for every 1mb of excess data
I would like to extend my reservation, how can I make payment?Click!
If you would like to extend your reservation, please contact us at your soonest. The extension fee is based on the usual daily rental rate, any outstanding charges will be charged to your deposit and the remaining deposit will be refunded accordingly. Alternatively, we will send you an invoice for payment by credit card if the outstanding amount is relatively significant.
I would like to make a reservation but it is less than 2 business days, is it possible?Click!
For Pick up at Incheon airport:
We usually prepare spare devices at Incheon airport for collection, hence please feel free to proceed with reservation and payment online as soon as possible. An email regarding Airport pick up will be sent to you shortly, which includes the Pick up number that is require upon collection at our Incheon airport counter.
For Pick up at Accommodation:
If you make a reservation and payment by 2pm (Korean time), we will try to expedite delivery and the soonest it can arrive is the next day, evening time. Please kindly note the arrival time and kindly proceed with reservation if all is good.
Also, we are able to arrange for a Speed delivery service (areas in Seoul only) at an additional cost of 5~15 USD on top of the usual 5 USD delivery fee. The delivery will arrive at your designated accommodation within 5 hours from the time of reservation during work hours. Please kindly indicate "Speed delivery service" in the comment box at the bottom of the Reservation page, and our staff will contact you with price details shortly upon reservation.
For Pick up at Insadong Office:
Feel free to come anytime during our office hours! It is possible to make reservation anytime before visiting our Insadong office for pick up.
I have to cancel my reservation on urgent notice, is it possible?Click!
Yes it is possible, please kindly contact us as soon as possible.
Cancellation with notice of at least 2 business days (Monday-Friday), full refund is possible.
Cancellation with notice less than 2 business days (Monday-Friday), rental cost refund is possible, delivery fees are non-refundable as the device has been sent for delivery.
Cancellation during rental period, un-used rental days are refundable, please kindly contact us for confirmation.
